Toronto-based pianist and composer Amanda Tosoff has received the Montréal Jazz Festival Grand Prix de Jazz, and the Toronto Arts Foundation Emerging Jazz Artist Award – and most recently, a Juno nomination and mention on the Polaris Prize “Longer List,” for her album Words, which blends poetry, jazz, art-song and folk-pop. With Amanda’s sixth release as a leader, the 2022 Juno-nominated Earth Voices (“Vocal Jazz Album of the Year”), she continues to pursue her creative and stylistic leap. Tosoff stands poised to share with the world the next stages in her evolution. She will be joined by special guest, two-time Juno award-winning jazz vocalist, Emilie-Claire Barlow.
