Gates open for ticketed evening Ship Point performances at 6:30pm on August 25, 26, and 27.
Gates open for free day-time Ship Point performances at 11:30am on August 26 and 27.
Gates open for ticketed evening Hermann’s Upstairs performances at 8:30pm on August 25 and 26.
ABOUT
Celebrate the end of summer on a high note at BC Smoke Shop Harbour Blues ‘n Roots Festival, located every year in Victoria’s stunning inner harbour since 1993.
This year, the festival will artists such as Samantha Fish ft. Jesse Dayton, Fantastic Negrito, Allison Russell, Boy Golden, Mazacote, and more – including 8 free performances on the Ship Point Main Stage on August 26 and 27.
Since changing the festival name from ‘Vancouver Island Blues Bash’ to ‘BC Smoke Shop Harbour Blues ‘n Roots Festival,’ this late summer party showcases a variety of blues, roots, folk, world, rock, country, and much more. With both outdoor performances at Ship Point, as well as late night evening performances at Hermann’s Upstairs, you’ll be dancing the night away in Victoria’s inner harbour and beyond!
SEATING AND SITE FEATURES
The festival is pleased to provide festival-goers with an array of seating options, as well as an licensed open beverage garden, food vendors, and a dance floor!
Bleacher seating, as well as tables and chairs, will be available in front of the stage, in addition to a sectioned-off area where you can get your groove on. You can also bring your own chairs, but these cannot be placed in the dance floor section.
The BC Smoke Shop Harbour Blues ‘n Roots Festival is wheelchair accessible, and honours the Easter Seals Canada Access 2 Entertainment Card.

No Animals (Service Dogs permitted)
No Illegal Substances
No Professional Recording Equipment unless previously arranged with the festival
You cannot take alcohol outside the festival grounds
The BC Smoke Shop Harbour Blues ‘n Roots Festival is a non-smoking event. There is No Smoking allowed in the site
Please deal with waste accordingly and use Garbage/Recycling/Compost Stations around site
